PowerEX EV – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all sales of electric vehicle (EV) chargers and all installation services provided by PowerEX EV (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing products or services from us, the customer (“you”, “your”) agrees to be bound by these Terms.

2. Products and Sales

• All EV chargers sold by PowerEX EV are subject to availability.
• Product descriptions, specifications, and pricing are provided as accurately as possible; however, minor variations may occur.
• Prices may change without notice, but confirmed orders will not be affected.
• Ownership of goods transfers to you only once full payment has been received.

3. Orders and Payment

• Orders may be placed online, by phone, or in writing.
• A deposit may be required for installation bookings.
• Full payment must be made before or on the day of installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• We accept major payment methods as communicated at the time of purchase.
• Late payments may incur additional charges.

4. Installation Services

• Installation dates are subject to availability and may be rescheduled due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.
• You must ensure safe and reasonable access to the installation site.
• Any additional work required due to site conditions (e.g., unexpected wiring issues, additional cabling, fuse board upgrades) may incur extra charges.
• Installations are carried out in accordance with UK electrical regulations and industry standards.

5. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information regarding your property, electrical system, and installation requirements.
• Obtain any necessary permissions (e.g., landlord approval, planning consent if required).
• Ensure the installation area is clear and accessible.
• Notify us of any hazards or relevant conditions at the property.

6. Warranty

• EV chargers sold by PowerEX EV are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
• Installation workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the installation date.
• Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, tampering, unauthorised repairs, or external factors such as power surges or weather events.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

• Orders for products may be cancelled within 14 days of purchase if the item has not been installed or used.
• Installation bookings cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.
• Refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe and may be subject to deductions for used or damaged goods.

8. Liability

• PowerEX EV is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or financial losses arising from product use or installation.
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the product or service in question.
• We are not responsible for issues arising from pre‑existing electrical faults or conditions outside our control.

9. Compliance and Safety

• All installations are carried out by qualified electricians.
• You must follow all safety instructions provided with the charger.
• Any modifications to the installation must be performed by a qualified professional.

10. Data Protection

• We collect and process customer information in accordance with UK data protection laws.
• Information is used solely for order processing, installation, warranty, and customer support.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

12. Amendments

PowerEX EV reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of purchase or booking will apply.
